Fruits in Mourning
Shalom, this is Froggie, or Kodaiko, 2 years and 8(8 + 8 + 5) + 6 days old. Today Professor Naomi permanently went back to Japan. She is my punkest mentor. I don’t mean to be arrogant, but I must admit that I am a genius of fruitology. But, BUT, I could never have exercised my talent as a gifted child on fruits without her guidance. You know, I’m only 2 years old! I’m too little and gentle to be left alone! I still need the help from my advisor! She’s not there in Room 425 of Studio 5 anymore? Where should I go when I fight with my parents? No, I don’t want to believe that! …Sigh… This is the tuffest experience I have ever had in my 2-year-life. Truly tuff. Tears keep filling my eyes.
Well….. But I am mature enough. I understand that she needs her family too, as much as I need my family. She looked so happy and relieved with Kenji! So, I will try to hold back from crying. And, AND, I can always visit her in Tokyo.
Professor Naomi, I am forever your student even if you are in Japan. Now my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude. But, BUT, I have yet to finish my paper on Babylonian fruits! And, AND, I will write my second research paper for you! I still need you, and you still have to teach me! Let’s use Skype! Keekeekee. Until I see you in person, please pace yourself and enjoy your new life in U of Tokyo, where I grew up and established the fruits business!
I miss you much, Professor Naomi. We all Punk Family miss you much.
Fruitiest love,
-FG
P.S. I will write about my Sonoma trip with Prof. Naomi soon!
