Jennie's Canadian Fruity Birthday

Shalooom?  This is Froggie, or Kodaiko, 3 years and 8(8 + 8 + 3) + 2 days old.  Today is my best friend Jennie's Birthday!!!  Prior to this fruity day, Mike hosted a Canadian Party for her last night.   I attended in my red Canadian sweater Jennie got for me.  Dad was appealing himself with the Canadian bill.  Mom was... well, she is actually Canadian  —a  Canadian-Punkist just like Jennie.  Keekeekee.

Look at Canadian me.

We Kids served as receptionists.  You know what, it was one of the most strict parties that I had ever attended.  We were tested if we could be accepted as a Canadian.  Wow...  Among us, Dad and I took the test.

The test was tuff.   As we couldn't answer most of the questions, Dad and I decided to focus on creating many fruity haikus —One of the tasks was to write "a haiku about Canadian, Canadians, Mounties, and/or beavers."   During almost the whole party, Dad and I concentrated on this work, because the best haiku would win a prize!

My haiku:
    1. Lover of raisin / Vegetable is not me / Fruits any one, eh?
    2. Wearing red and green / It's not easy be-ing me / I am frog, rib-it!

Yeaa... The last two were not about Canada...  A little bit embarrassing...  Huh?  Does the first one also have nothing to do with Canada?  Heeeeey, how dare you.  Look at the ending.  I put "eh?"

Dad's haiku:
    1. I love Canad' chicks / Tighty-whities is all me / Hold me tight now ooooo /
I am punk ko-ala bear / My wife is Canadi-an.

    2. Froggie is not me / Vegetable is me though / I am Eiggorf Wu.

Straightforward...  For your information, his first one is not a haiku, but a tanka (5-7-5-7-7 syllabled verse).  I don't get the last one... Who is Eiggorf?   Strange...

So... did one of two get a prize?  Nah... I was devastated and Dad was crying...  But it's okay... We will create more haiku and apply for the Canadian citizenship again.

After the tuff test, we had the candle time!   The fire was so POwerful!  Dad was apparently frightened at it and hiding behind Mom.  (Or, he was still sad about losing a haiku prize.)

I hope Jennie made a fruitiest wish for this burning flame.  Happy Birthday day, Jennie!

Fruitfully yours,
-FG

It was really a fun, fruity party! Of course I ate the cake. Mom was most excited about it though. Keekeekee. Hmm... Fruit flan sounds yummy. I'll ask Washuwashu if he can make it.
