Food Club: Grandpah's Curry

Heelloooooo?  This is Froggie, or Kodaiko, 3 years and 8(8 + 8 + 6) + 1 days old.  Now Grandmah and I are at SFO to fly back to Japan!  Huh?  What about other family members?  Well, this trip is not necessarily for a pure vacation.  Grandmah has to do fieldwork with her advisor, and I will have an intensive summer session with Prof. Naomi.  So, that's just two of us.  The rest of the family will go to Japan in winter.  So, no worries.  Keekeekee.

Anyways, I wanted to write about Grandpah's cooking debut at our food club on last Tuesday.  As promised, he cooked Japanese curry, supervised by Dad.  He even published a menu!

  Asian father and son.
=======================================
MENU:
   Appetizer - Tomato Radish Salad
   (Grown organically from the goodness of mother earth. Pure, simple - like a baby's innocence.)
   Entree - Punpun's Delightful Curry
   (Tender chicken swimming in a Japanese sea of rich thick curry. A sublime taste that brings out the mystic aroma of the Orient.)
   Dessert - Gelato Tiramisu
   (A smooth blend of Italian ice cream with Americana richness. A mix so perfect, it is almost as good as int'l dating.)
   Wine - 2005 Bonny Doon Riesling
   (A sparkling sensation that cleanses the soul and refreshes the dirty mind.)
=======================================

  Everyone having a goodtime.

This time, Uncle Calvin could finally join us.  Also, I invited Mr. Greenburg again.  He really loves this club.  Actually, he is thinking of cooking as well!  By the way, Grandmah is complaining a bit, because she will miss four dinners while she is in Japan.  And then, she has to cook again immediately after coming back to California.  Keekeekee.  Poor Grandmah.

Fruits,
-FG

    Wow! The post is really a super one. It is really enjoyable an interesting too. He has written about his Grandpa’s cooking debut at our food club. He prepared Tomato Radish Salad as appetizer, Punpun's Delightful Curry as entrée, Gelato Tiramisu as desert and 2005 Bonny Doon Riesling wine. The writer froggie has explained in detail how they all and Uncle Calvin & Mr. Greenburg have enjoyed that evening. Everyone likes spending an evening with their family. Making dishes by their own and having it with their children, family members and friends are really awesome. I have read the entire post with great interest. Keep posting enjoyable posts like this in the future too.
