Fruits in the World -#1 Senbikiya (Tokyo, Japan)

Hello?  This is Froggie, or Kodaiko, 4 years and 8 + 6 days old.  We family have been a bit busy to take care of Grandmah who sprained her right ankle and got a raspberry on her left knee while walking in the Dish on Sunday.   A raspberry???  Hmm, sounds so fruity.  But actually, it seems very painful.  Poor Grandmah.  It's okay, she has to study either way, so she can just sit at the desk!  Keekeekee.

So, today I would like to write about my trip to Japan and about my experience with its fruits.  Yea yea, I got so many eager requests to write about Japan.  As a responsible CFO, I will report the fruits market in Japan in a few future entries.

Goofy me in front of Senbikiya

On December 27, the whole family visited this historical fruits store since 1834.  I was getting a little nervous in front of such an Establishment of Japanese fruits market.   After all, I'm just a peasant who simply loves good fruits!  Well, but at the same time, I am a CFO of FG's Foods.  I am responsible for learning more about good fruits in the world.  Prof. Naomi, my adviser, accompanied me and encouraged me.  So I was fine.

                   Me and watermelons at Senbikiya

Some of the readers of this blog would know that I started my fruits career as a watermelon seller at beach.  I sold them at 5 cents.  Watermelons have been always so special to me —they bring back my original fruit-spirit.  So, I was very interested in Senbikiya's watermelon.  ... WOW.  ¥4,200 per watermelon!!!  That is roughly about $42. Hmmmmm.......  I want to taste it!!!  But how?  Should I buy it?  Okay, I'll go ask Prof. Naomi and family...

Next time, I will write about my first experience of $42-watermelon.  Huh?  Did I buy it?  Well...  I'll tell you later...

Fruits,
-FG
